Follow your passions

This story is about us, two young talented kids dreaming big about their future, about being professional soccer players. This kids were amazing playing soccer. One with a extraordinary left foot, very fast and skill with the ball on his foot, the other a marvelous vision on the camp, a very technical player, captain of the team.

The first kid, George, was one of the best at junior high school, this talent brought him opportunities, invitations to play at better teams, he didn’t ask for it, but opportunities came alone. He was invited to play at “Gallos Plus” that in those days, it was recognized as a good soccer academy, competing on international tournaments, he accepted and went to play twice and the coach liked him, but one day he gave up because the partners were not nice at him, because he take someone’s place at first team. He stopped playing for a few years until he decided to came back, but nothing was the same, competition had increased and he never get a place on first team.

The other kid, Carlo, was the captain of his soccer academy, played on third professional division at 14 years old, he was twice invited to play with other teams, everyone who watch him play told him to test on Gallos Blancos academy. He was one of the best, but he never tried new horizons, he was afraid to being rejected and not fulfill other expectations. After getting high school, he continue playing, but his level dropped gradually, the kid who was destined to be a leader inside the camp, at the end he occasionally played.

Both of them were talented kids, and could have been better, but they didn’t chased their dreams. One of them, couldn’t overtake their partners attitude and became a leader who demonstrate why he deserves to play instead of someone else. The other was enclosed in his comfort zone, and didn’t have the courage to try new experiences, even he received the opportunity to do it.

After all this years of thinking about “what if”, what if he will demonstrate his potential instead of quitting?, what if he will have go to the tryouts for Gallos Blancos?, what if they weren’t afraid to follow their dreams?, what will be his life at this moment? What if their lives were completely different right now?.

The message we try to express is not to demonstrate how good we were playing soccer, or to boast about the skills we used to have. The intention is to follow your dreams. Don’t be afraid of the obstacles, people will make the impossible to make you fall, overtake the situation and keep clear your intentions. Don’t be afraid to changes, they are good, even the beginning can be difficult, the process and the end deserve it. Don’t be afraid to be happy.
